Also 15-20 minutes drive from Gweedore there are lots of other towns to stay in with beautiful homes to stay in—Dunfanaghy and Falcarragh are two other areas to search for homes.

***July is the high season in Donegal and there actually not many hotels in the the area. Most of the other hotels are already sold out. If you are planning to come we suggest you book your accommodation and really the best options left are Airbnb or Vrbo. There really isn’t a “luxe” hotel or 5 star hotel anywhere near. You would have to go to Donegal Town (1 hour drive) Or Derry (1 hour drive).
